Man jailed for knife and drug offences in Brent

  A man who had been wanted for drugs and knife offences has been jailed following an investigation by the Violent Crime Taskforce. Tereece Ellis, 23, (31.10.97) appeared at Harrow Crown Court on Thursday, 18 February, where he was sentenced to one year and eight months’ imprisonment for possession of a knife, possession with intent to supply class B drugs, possession of criminal property, and failure to appear at court. The court also ordered a forfeiture of £3,100 which had been recovered from his address during his arrest. He previously pleaded guilty at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 5 December. The court heard how Ellis had been wanted by police in relation to a drugs possession offence from November 2020, and was also wanted for a separate knife offence where his DNA was linked to a discarded knife from a stop and search encounter in September 2020. Man jailed for drugs offences in Islington

  A man has been jailed having been convicted for the third time of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply. Sonny Doyle, 25, (2.08.95) of no fixed address but from the Islington area, was sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Wednesday, 10 February to five years and eight months’ imprisonment. He had pleaded guilty at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 14 January to two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, both crack cocaine and heroin. The court heard that he had two previous convictions for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs in 2016 and in 2018. On Tuesday, 12 January, officers were called to Cantelowes Gardens, off Camden Road to reports of an altercation involving a group of males. Local officers attended and saw Doyle run from police. Two people charged with drugs offences

  A man and woman have been charged following the seizure of Class A drugs and a firearm at a residential address in Downham. Jayne McIntosh, 37 (04.07.83) of Camlan Road, Bromley was charged on Wednesday, 3 February with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (cocaine).  She appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates' Court the same day and was bailed to appear at Croydon Crown Court on Wednesday, 3 March. In addition, Jonathan Lacey, 37 (29.06.83) of Mercater Road, Lewisham was arrested and charged on Wednesday, 3 February with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (cocaine) and possession of a firearm.  He has been remanded in custody to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 4 February. A 40-year-old man [B] who was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply and possession of a firearm has been released under investigation.
