Dangerous duo jailed for 24 years for their part in county lines drug supply

  A man and a woman have been jailed for a total of 24 years after being convicted of drugs and firearms offences. Jermequic Harrison, 30 (25.04.91), of the Clapham Road Estate, Peckham and Rhianna McLeggan, 27 (25.03.94), of Chadwick Road, Slough appeared for sentencing at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday, 18 June. Harrison was sentenced to 18 years' imprisonment having previously been convicted of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and conspiracy to possess firearms. McLeggan had previously pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and was sentenced to six years' imprisonment. The investigation into the pair began when officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, with support from firearms officers, executed a search warrant at an address in Clitterhouse Crescent, Cricklewood on October 18, 2019. Seven charged following proactive county lines operation

  Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have charged six men and one woman following an operation to tackle the exploitation of children into county lines activity. The following appeared in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 19 June and were remanded to appear at the same court on Friday, 16 July: [A] Muhammed Khan, 21 (23.06.00) of Davenport Gardens, Ilford was charged with three counts of conspiracy to supply a Class A drug, acquire/use/possess criminal property and conspire to supply a Class B drug. [B] Rizwan Ahmad, 26 (22.03.95) of Stonehall Avenue, Ilford was charged with three counts of conspiracy to supply a Class A drugs, acquire/use/possess criminal property and conspiracy to supply a Class B drug. Eight people arrested in operation to tackle County Lines

  Officers investigating the exploitation of children into County Lines activity have carried out early morning raids in east London. On Thursday, 17 June, officers from Met’s Central Specialist Crime, along with officers from North East Command, led an operation that focused on the disruption of a suspected organised crime network operating in east London.   Four east London addresses were targeted simultaneously, three in Ilford and one in Newham, alongside the production of two men already in prison. A total of seven men and one woman were arrested, aged between 19 and 56 years old, on suspicion of offences including conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, modern slavery and human trafficking. Searches at the addresses continue but officers have so far seized a large quantity of cash and Class B drugs.   The investigation was launched in October 2020 after officers identified a ring of people involved in widespread drug supply across east London and Essex. Three jailed for firearms & Drug offences

  Three men have each been sentenced to five years and three months imprisonment each for multiple firearms offences after entering guilty pleas. [A] Stephen Panagi, 57 (08.02.64) of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to selling/transferring a firearm, selling/transferring ammunition and possession of cannabis on 21 January. [B] Daniel Sharpe, 45 (16.07.96) of Beckton Gardens, Manchester, M22, pleaded guilty to selling/transferring a firearm, selling/transferring ammunition, money laundering and possession of cannabis ( class B drugs ) on 22 March. [C] Andreas Antoniades, 29(17.03.92) of Marsh Wall, E14 pleaded guilty to conspiracy to acquire a firearm and conspiracy to acquire ammunition on 18 May. A fourth person, [D] Daniella Forde (23.08.90) of Ardern Road, Manchester, M8, failed to appear at court for sentencing and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.
